In addition to his other qualifications for the post, Mr. Jameson has had the advantage of two years' experience in teaching Chinese boys, in his capacity of Head Master of an Anglo-Chinese School in this Colony, and would therefore appear to be qualified for his appointment.

I enclose copy of a letter from Mr. Wright Head Master of the Central School, forwarding Mr. Jameson's application together with a paper of particulars of the office, and recommending his appointment, and also copy of a previous application from Mr. Jameson supported by Testimonials.
